The perfect cake for a new driver, sweet 16 birthday or the person who seems to attract an accident.
What a blast my sis and I had making this cake!
Chocolate doughnut tires, windshield and crushed glass made of candy, a waterfall of chocolate pooling on the ground from a rice crispy fire hydrant.
Not only was it fun to make, but it was a hit with the birthday girl!
Wanna break some glass?
Create a mold using tinfoil in the shape of the windshield. Make sure to create edges by folding the tinfoil up. Place the mold on a cookie sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray. Place Jolly Ranchers in the color of your choice in the mold (we used blue to look like safety glass) and put in a 350 degree oven until melted. Pull out of the oven and let cool. We cooled ours in the fridge. When cool and hard the candy will lift from the tinfoil easily. This process can be done using metal cookie cutters as well.
